For the two projects, Brookfield Renewable Power would install about 94 turbines to generate approximately 217 MW of renewable energy, plus underground and overhead electrical collection lines and other ancillary facilities such as turbine access roads and a substation. The environmental assessment study area for the two projects is approximately 55,000 hectares in size. The land area required for the project’s infrastructure would be approximately 53 to 89 hectares – less than 1% of the study area.
