About the ProjectThe proposed wind farm will include about 149 turbines, generating approximately 250 megawatts of renewable energy, and will also include underground and overhead electrical collection lines and other ancillary facilities such as turbine access roads and two substations. It will produce over 600 gigawatt-hours of electricity per year - enough to power more than 80,000 houses, and it will be distributed to residences, businesses, schools, hospitals and other public buildings in the region.
